Schloss Clinton

Castle Clinton or Fort Clinton, previously known as Castle Garden, is a circular sandstone fort now located in Battery Park, in Manhattan, New York City. Built from 1808 to 1811, it was the first U.S. immigration station (predating Ellis Island), where more than 8 million people arrived in the United States from 1855 to 1890.

The Battery, formerly known as Battery Park, is a 25-acre (10 ha) public park located at the southern tip of Manhattan Island in New York City facing New York Harbor. It is bounded by Battery Place on the north, State Street on the east, New York Harbor to the south, and the Hudson River to the west.

The Battery Park Underpass is a vehicular tunnel at the southernmost tip of Manhattan, New York City, near the neighborhoods of South Ferry and Battery Park City. The tunnel connects FDR Drive, which runs along the east side of Manhattan Island, with the West Side Highway (New York State Route 9A, or NY 9A), which runs along the island's west side.

17 State Street is a 42-story office building located in the Financial District of Manhattan, overlooking State Street and Battery Park. It was designed by Roy Gee for Emery Roth and Sons for developers William Kaufman Organization, and it is most noted for its distinct curved glass facade. The building has been owned by RFR Holding since 1999 when it was acquired from Savannah Teachers Properties Inc.

Battery Place was a station on the demolished Ninth Avenue and Sixth Avenue elevated train lines in New York City. It was located at the southern terminus of Greenwich Street at the north end of Battery Park.The station had two tracks and two side platforms. It was served by trains from the IRT Sixth Avenue Line and IRT Ninth Avenue Line.

The James Watson House, at 7 State Street between Pearl and Water Streets in the Financial District of Manhattan, New York City, was built in 1793 and extended in 1806, and is now the rectory of the Shrine of St. Elizabeth Ann Bayley Seton. It is located near the southern tip of Manhattan Island, across from Battery Park.

The New Amsterdam Plein and Pavilion, designed by Ben van Berkel and Caroline Bos of UNStudio, with the architect of record being Handel Architects of New York, is a gift from the Netherlands to New York City in honor of the 400th Anniversary in 2009 of Henry Hudson’s arrival in New York Harbor. It was completed in 2011.
