The Thumb Mountain in the Nangang Mountain Series is named after the top of the mountain like a thumb.
We started from Hexing Coal Mine and went straight to The Thumb Mountain. Most of the steps along the road were steps with a steep slope. Squirrels and birds were active animals on this mountain.
After reaching the top of Thumb Mountain , we cross-cut to the 95th peak, and then descended from the climbing area.
Finally returned to the Hexing Coal Mine , and experienced the mining life of the former coal miner.
This trip was very challenging, especially with the rope straight down, you must use both hands and feet, and walk carefully. Although it was physically exhausting, the aftertaste was endless and it was a recommended itinerary!
